Can anyone explain to me how to replace the fog light bulb for the M45. It has a lens but it looks like you can't remove it and I can't get in the other side? Help

I don't see it in the owner's manual either! I'd check with your dealership... They may take care of it under the warranty since the car is so new - or if not at least they can tell you how to replace it without messing something up.

PT:With such a new car expertise on those little day-to-day tricks will be thin.

I will forward this thread to someone I think can help.

Maybe you can post a close-up photo of the fogs.

On the 94-96 Q45, there is a piece of trim that is on one side of the fog lights. It looks like it's part of the lens. But when you remove it, which is hard to do without cracking it, you can access the bolts that secure the fogs.

Personally, I have no use for fog lights. I replaced the ones on my car with some HID driving lights. Much better.

By the way, after seeing your homepage, I have a fresh interest in the M45. I think it is the color black in combination with the spoiler. Your car looks mean.

I think if Infiniti painted the lower body to match, the M45 would look much better. In all the colors except black, the car looks too high of the ground.

1.Remove the inner fender protector.2.Disconnect the fog lamp connector3.Remove nuts, and slide the fog lamp out of the front bumper fascia.4.Turn the plastic cap counterclockwise and unlock it.5.Unlock the retaining clip and remove the bulb from the fog lamp.6.Install in the reverse order of removal.

Fog lamp : 12V 55W (H3 halogen)Do not touch the bulb directly by hand. Keep grease and other oily matters away from it. The bulb also gets very hot, let it cool before removing.

If you want to make the fogs look more like HID, try the PIAA Super Plasma H3 bulbs. I'm planning on getting some for my G20...they're 5000K I think.

Or just replace the foglights with the Sylvania XENARC® HID Auxiliary Low Beam Kit.

Did that take out the yellow lense? I have a QX4, and am going through the same problem. I found another lense that is a bluish tint to replace the yellow, but i can't seem to figure how to get the light out.

I want to replace the foglight bulb for the exact same reason the yellow lights just do not match with the HIDs so i bought some xenon h3 but can not figure out how to replace. in step 1 you are asking to remove the inner fender protector. where is this located under the hood or the under carrige.

thanks
