recently went threw some car stalling..
I changed my camshaft sensors, solenoid, and crankshaft sensor. Long story short, all in the mean while, raw fuel was getting projected into my cats
So I am in need of both my catalytic converters. Dealership is charinging waaaaaaay to much. Went to a few close by muffler shops and they were a lot cheaper which was good but im wondering now where can I purchased both cats so I can get labor done free since I work at a nissan dealer?
Any suggestions/info would be greatly appreciated and helpful.

thank you guys, xoxo Promesa ;)

What happened when you reached out to Joe at IOS as recommended in the other thread on this?
Don't get too excited, it's still going to be expensive. if yours is anything like the Y34, the cats are integrated to the exhaust manifolds with a 3rd cat much further down the pipe. Hence the expense.

Who is joe and where is IOS? I may be in need of this? My only issue after that is finding someone in NY that will install them...seems to be illegal for anyone except the dealer to touch them here.

They check emissions thru the obd on these cars. The o2 simulators use resistors to give a "correct" o2 reading so you have no cel light and it'll pass emissions.

Just a suggestion emissions police!!

Joe is the person at the parts counter at Infiniti of Scotsdale. (Scotsdale AZ) Tell him we sent you.

Cutting off your cats is a federal crime and discussions about doing so will get this thread closed.
Please discontinue that discussion.

careful with using aftermarket cats. I have been going thru the same problem and aftermarket cats were rejected by my ecu. The car computer is programmed so tight that a lil discrepancy will throw error codes.
I had to finally just spend the money on the oem parts and have my local muffler shop put them in. 4 months of pain after changing out soo many parts to make it work.
