i'm sure not all infinitis are like this but i will never own another one. the service dept. at infiniti of tysons has made the situation much worse with no communication, only get voicemails or receptionist. they MAY call back a couple days later, this is from the gm down to the service writer. infiniti consumer affairs isn't much better. four calls since last thursday and she still hasn't returned my call. gotta love it.

Hello,Really sorry to hear of your issues. Of course it can be said that this is beyond unusual. Matters not when your car is the exception to the rule. It simply sucks. I am quite dismayed to hear of your experiences with Infiniti North America. I would call again until you reach someone who is sympathetic to your case (God knows anyone should). Also, I would politely air your grievances with the General Manager. It is one thing if a customer repeatedly brings in a car over rattles, balance,etc.. It is another when your car is inoperative. It is getting to the point where a buyback is not unreasonable.Good Luck,MLAlso, a JNK Vin indicates the car is manufactured in Japan

What you are experiencing is extremely rare for an Infiniti - both the car and the dealer problems. Yes, some dealers are not as good than others, unfortunately, so I cannot comment on Tyson per se. Please continue to be persistent with Infiniti - the Corporate folks and the dealer - and the problems will get resolved at some point hopefully.

Please don't let this bad experience sour you on Infiniti in general. I have owned three Infiniti's (bought my first one in 1991) and they have been exceptional cars - been driving cars for 34 years now, and Infiniti's for 17 of them!

BTW, have you looked at invoking the lemon laws in your state - given that this a brand-new 2008 M45 - to get a resolution on it?
