m45 2006 sport with woodgrain

I was looking at a 2006 m45 sport. The pedals had the metal stripes which I thought was a good indication that it was sport but the dashboard was woodgrain and thought the sport package was all metal trim. Anyone know if woodgrain was an option in 2006 for a M45 sport? Thanks.

Man, these M's come with so many different combination's of options it's sometimes hard to keep up with it being which package.To answer your question, yes there are M35/ M45 Sport models that have wood grain interior trims. The main thing you need to look at to distinguish a real Sport model from a fake, is the RAS (Rear Active Steer) option. If it has this option, it is definitely a Sport model, if it doesn't, then someone is trying to make it into a Sport model.

The woodgrain has been a $600 option on the M35/M45 Sport since 2006.

Also, look for smoked headlights. Sport models have 'em while the Luxury models do not.
