Got my 04 about a month ago and am very, very happy with it - power, power, looks, comfort, sound system, etc. Hard to find a car with this much substance in this price range.

I do have some questions - maybe you vets can offer some input (this may seem like a lot of bitchin' - not at all - just a few little things that I need to get right - the car is great) -

1) Does anyone's left blinker click faster than the right? And it doesn't do it all the time, just intermittently. Could it mean that a fuse/link is about to fail?

2) I hear kind of a grinding/rubbing noise in the front in the first couple seconds of taking off after starting the car. Could it be something like the brake cylinder pressurizing?

3) transmission seems to 'hunt' sometimes for the right gear. Just a design issue, I guess.

4) Fit and finish. Any luck fixing any of the following - or has the dealer done a good job fixing for you:a- wind noise at driver's door at very top rear of glass b- console/arm rest doesn't fit quite right c-glove box is loose

Other - I installed satellite radio. Painless. Let me know if you need input on this. I have lost my preset stations a couple times - I guess those receivers are finicky.

This forum is great - thanks in advance for the input.LG

1) well if it were a constant quick blink. it would be a dead bulb. if the fuse was out. nothing would blink

as for blinking intermittenly like that. the bulb probably has a loose connection or just bad bulb. try and get 2 new bulbs on the side of which it happens and see what it is.

but definately it is not the fuse.

good luck!!!

4) the arm console rest fitment seems really cheap. it shakes around and stuff for you right? maybe add in some spacers or something to fix the problem

sounds like the VDC initializing. this is normal. You'll hear it from time to time.

Here is a test - try turning the vdc off as soon as you get in the car.
