hey guys,

Just registered here, new to the forum. I don't own a G35 but my mom does, and I'm hoping it'll be passed down to me soon. Anyways, heres the current situation. My mom with the help of me, just imported a 2007 IP G35S from Colorado. We're in Vancouver, Canada. The G is fine, it's my motive to wake up every morning for school ( I get a ride to school ). Anyways, it's summer now but when winter comes we're going to need a set of snow tires. My mom said she's planning on using the Sport 18s as winters, and she asked me what she think would be nice on her car. It isn't dropped, it's completely stock other than tint and clearbra. I think the best rims without a drop on a G would either be the G37 Sport 19s, or the M45 Sport 19s. They both look hella nice, and I can't decide between them. I need you guys to let me know what you guys think of the rims. Here are some pics of each rim on an IP Sedan.

M45 19s:

G37 19s:

None of them are dropped either btw.

Thanks, Brendan

When you say the 18s, do you mean the Rays? Those and the M rims look good. Were you planning on buying the M rims? Those cost a lot cuz I looked into getting those for my car too, but for that money it would be better off going aftermarket cuz you can get better/lighter rims.

I would go aftermarket, probably sevas, but I don't plan on having it dropped nor my mom. So imo the only wheels that don't make the car look like a 4x4 without a drop are infiniti rims. So by that M45s or G37S rims. I'm really like the G37 rims. Oh and by 18s, I mean the stock Sport 18 rims that come stock on the newer gen sport edition sedans

Say what? If you go with the correct tire size and get a deep lip with the right type of spoke curvature or no lip, the car will look find. No "4x4" look.

I've seen a lot of 07+ gs on aftermarket rims without a drop, they look pretty funny imo. Plus, she doesn't want anything to flashy or what not so something with a big lip would be pretty flashy. She really likes the look of the G37S 19s on the G, she said shes probably going to look into getting a set of the G37 rims.

Ouch! Hopefully you can find somebody with lots of money that's willing to sell those for peanuts. I can see a set in perfect condition going for $2k+

I'm eyeing a set right now that only has 25miles on it, it has 2 hours left and is at $910. I know it'll go up for more, but I can't see $2k for a set of G37wheels, maybe for M45 19s...

You'd be surprised. I think the rims go for $800-$1000/each retail. Who actually pays that much? Crazy uninformed consumers. So half that amount for a set isn't far off in my mind.
