I had my car jumped started and the radio didn't produce any sound after. I looked in the forum and saw the problem. Radio was causing the problem. I got that solved. But now my heat controls doesn't work and I don't have the predictive backup lines come on my Backup camera. But the camera works. I have the AC on 80 degrees but can't change it. When I do the diagnostic test the radio is in red. and I get the error about it. I looked into the error log and it reads. "Unfinished Configuration" Is there something I can do for that. Or do I have to go to the dealer to get this corrected. Also I read that if I do the second push setting and turn the volume button a second test will come up. But that doesn't work for me. I'm thinking this procedure lets me finished this configuration for the car system. Pls help Thanks in advance

This requires the factory scan tools "Write Configuration" function be performed for the Multi AV system. From what I can tell it's just a matter of telling the AV system if your car is a Base or Bose system and LHD or RHD. Once this is done the technician is supposed to check the guidelines and predictive course lines to verify it worked.

Sounds like the jump-start somehow wiped it out. Not cool.

Oh cool. Can this be done without the dealer? if not I will take it to the dealer and hopefully it won't cost too much being that I'm not under warranty. Thanks so much for the help

Anyone with the factory scan tool (Consult-III) should be able to do it. Because of the cost (13K for standard kit) only Nissan and Infiniti dealers generally have them. I doubt even the best aftermarket scan tools can handle this. I have a pretty good one and it does not have this function.

Unfortunately I cannot find any labor time listed for it but I figure it would be around a 1/2 hour charge.

ok. so this will fix the AC and camera situation. I don't think anything is wrong with the AC or camera just the system didn't finish the configurations. Thanks so much

I don't know if that's the right way to do it. But I wish it was so I could see if it would've kicked in the configuration to complete the setup for the car
