My entire center console is non responsive. Navigation Buttons, Climate and Radio buttons are all non responsive. Touch screen is responsive, however stuck in navigation mode. Which works. Steering wheel controls also work fine. The climate is stuck at 77° and working. All other electrical is fine. No blown fuses. PLEASE HELP!! This is a 2012 M37X

Follow my HowTo guide on removing the radio and reseat all of your connections. I've seen weirder things working in IT. Sometimes just unplugging and plugging it back in is all it takes.

Did you get into the hidden diagnostic screens? Sounds like you deleted the firmware......

Never touched a thing. It went out one night and I thought it was something I did with my phone or Bluetooth or even the USB port. But it came back on after an hour. Then a couple weeks later it went out again and hasn't come back on since. Never did the diagnostic menu at all. All the fuses and relays are intact and in fact my hazard lights button still works. However nothing else (buttons) on the control panel or the radio will work. Steering wheel controls are still intact and the tick screen works. It's just stuck on the navigation map and the climate stuck in 77°

have you tried just disconnecting the battery for a weekend? You should have time now during the china virus lockdown.

I don't know if this will help or not - I found a thread on the QX60 in which the post suggested holding in the radio power/volume button for 15 seconds with the engine running which on that unit forces a hard reboot. You release it when you see a reboot message on the screen. I don't know if that works on our cars or not, but it is worth a try and shouldn't hurt anything. In that owners case, the issue was caused by either a bad USB cable or a bad flash drive. You might also look in your center console and see if anything is shorting the USB outlet.

Interesting...I wish I could try that, however my radio controls aren't responsive either.
I have also noticed that in my menu the "audio" and "volume and beeps" options are both "faded out" and I'm unable to select them.

I tried and that doesn't do anything in our cars.

Helio my friend!

I had the same sadeness. My problem was in ethernet wiring in back seats. Middle arm support inside has it. Tippy should open and check conditions in the bending area.

Good luck !
