Hello!

I'm new to this forum, and hoping to find some help. My M37x jerks violently when you accelerate moderately or harshly. The Traction Control light blinks rapidly and you can hear/feel the ABS activating. This happens on dry surfaces, so it's not a traction issue. I drove my G37x and Q50 on the same stretch and there was no issue. I did take it to the Dealership and they replaced the Mass Airflow Sensor, but this did not correct the issue. Any help would be much appreciated. I have posted links to the videos below:

Welcome to the forum.

I'm not entirely sure what this could be, but we have some knowledgeable fellas on this forum so I'm sure someone will chime in shortly.

I'm going to say that looks like a serious torque converter issue. To be more specific, something to do with the line pressure. That's why it only happens when you're applying a decent amount of power.

That is really violent.

Looks like you're still under warranty. Take it back to the dealership and have them troubleshoot it until it is resolved. Could be a plethora of things. i would have them systematically troubleshoot each of the throttle, slip, and ABS sensors to start. No codes thrown?

Let me ask you a question? are you forcing it gas in the video? From what I see, you are hitting 3000rpms and then a FAIL SAFE kicks in. If that's the case, you need to take your car to the dealer. When this happened to me it was my mass air flow sensors.

They already replaced the MAFs.

I'm going to guess wheel speed sensor. The ABS could think there is slippage and is cutting fuel to maintain control of the car. The technicians need to hook up their diagnostic scan tool, check for codes in the ABS system which, if present, should indicate the cause or a contributor to the issue. If there is no code they can view and record the ABS data. This should show them what is triggering the ABS to activate.

If not ABS related the Engine data can be viewed and recorded to look for the fault as well. They really should not have this much trouble getting this resolved for you.

It looks like me trying to drive my dad's 4 speed Ford when I was a kid.
