honestly you are better off just going with some HFC. i dont think the test pipe raspy sound would go well with what the M is supposed to be. this isnt a G35 coupe.

that being said, any HFC or testpipe made for the G37 sedan will fit the M37.

So even if I can get away with no cats over here and have more flow still do the hfcs?

Any test pipe will work. Z1 maybe an option. But no joke about resonance. You may need 4 resonators to combat. Most aftermarket CB's come with a pair of resonators & mufflers. Add 2 more. You'll be able to get it back in control

The garage line is a dual outlet. Unless you find a CB with dual inlet. Even then. You may have a little trouble having it be a direct bolt on. But imo a little custom work at your local muffler shop does wonders. But yes. Test pipes will directly bolt up to this Y pipe

It will work. The garage line replaces both the stock front Y-pipe assembly and resonator assembly as a cat back system, to the stock mufflers. You don't need a shop to install these components or do custom work. Hardest part is getting the bolts loose, as they are usually rusted. If you're not worried about emissions then you can also replace the cats with test pipes if you want. They also bolt in without modification.

The only reason I like the X pipe is studies shows it adds torque. Which our V6 lacks. As Army said. Take your cats and Y pipe off. I'm paraphrasing here. This all bolts up in stock form. Your trouble will be the CB or future aftermarket CB. Stillen for example comes with a single inlet at the Y. So you would need to cut the single inlet into a a dual and add piping. I personally like the dual piping for our 3.7's.

It is if you have AWD, because of the transfer case. I found that out the hard way, when I bought a custom X-pipe kit that fit a RWD model. Luckily, I was able to lengthen it by adding flex connectors. Since the overall length of the system was the same, I had to remove the same amount from the tubes running through the tunnel to the mufflers. Since you have the 2011 Sport model (going by your sig) it's safe to assume you don't have AWD. I'm almost sure the stock Y-pipe assembly is pretty much the same across the whole VQ37 RWD platform; G37 sedan and coupe, M37, etc. Only difference will be the midpipe assembly. The stock M37 and M56 midpipe uses angled flanges to bolt up to matching angled flanges on the mufflers. The G37 sedan midpipe is a slip fit to the mufflers with a pipe clamp. The G37 coupe uses a whole different muffler system. The midpipe pictured on the garageline website shows angled flanges, which to me, is indicative of a M37/M56 sedan application. I don't see it fitting any other VQ37 application. I would be willing to say that it will fit, but if you're not sure you can give them a call and ask.

Dynasty, I believe if you install test pipes. Your going to need computer tuning asap. Even to reap the benefits of high flow cats. You should still get tuning. I remember when I took off my cats on my Camaro, We used simulators. I haven't noticed simulators for these cars.

I doubt you will gain much power and the sound probably won't be worth it. I don't know about the M, but when I had a G35, I tried test pipes on otherwise stock exhaust it sounded terrible.
