Background: Our 2012 M37 Base has Black leather seats, we have a 53 lb Dog that declares the car belongs to her come Hell or High water. So after 10 years or so the front seats have scratches, and now one of the perforated inserts has a tear on the outside stitch on the center heating/cooling area. I have looked into 3 places that do upholstery work, none near us though and they want a lot of $$$, the car has 151k miles and I want to keep it. Is there a way I can get a skin from another Infinity (maybe a Q50,60) or a bottom seat and replace mine with it?
Thanks in advance....

If you find a part out M37/56/Q70 you could definitely transfer the leather, but you could also just replace the entire chair. Try local scrapyards! eBay is too expensive usually but you might get lucky there too.

It would be a lot cheaper than getting it repaired.

Separated seams like you have now are usually fatal, but if you can find a used set with only small imperfections, a good vinyl repair guy can work wonders on minor cracks and dings. Patches don't usually cost a fortune, it's when whole sections need to be mended or replaced that you run into big bucks.
