I'm considering a M37 with the deluxe package but don't like the appearance of the silver dusted wood (I want other features of the deluxe package). Are there aftermarket kits to replace the wood that is actually nice and, if so, how hard is it to replace? Does anyone have any experience with these? I actually prefer the style of what comes with just the base model.

I wish the wood shapes were the same as the 06 because I would trade you in a heartbeat! I absolutely LOVE the silver dusted wood.

Ranman0 where are you located? I have a 2012 M37S with the wood trim that your looking for and I'd be happy to trade with you! Not familiar with the actual work involved, but i'm sure we can figure that out!

No, I got many compliments on it and it grew on me. Decided to stick with it.

I traded my "06 M35X in for a 2013 M37X. I miss the wood in the '06 because it really did look like wood. The '13 dark walnut looks more like plastic with all the layers of finish. I have to remind myself it is wood... but it does look good. The dealer said that in the '06 plus years they had a problem with it delaminating. Is that accurate or was it dealer puffing?
