M37 & M56 steering wheel sizes

Hi everyone, I'm brand new here. But I've owned a 2011 Infiniti M37S for about 5 years. I always wanted to get a steering wheel cover for it, but just kinda forgot and now that I'm seeing some wear on the wheel's leather, I want to finally buy one. I found one which you stitch around it on ebay, which says it's compatible with the 2011 m56, but for some reason not the m37. I thought they were pretty much the exact same size/shape, but maybe I'm wrong? Other than that one cover, I can't find another similar one for the M37 that fits as good.

So can anyone to tell if the m37 and m56 really have different sized/shaped steering wheels (2011) or if they are in fact the same?

Welcome to the forum.

I'm going to say the wheel is the same. One way to verify that is look up the OEM part numbers of both models on a site like InfinitiPartsUsa.com and see if they have different part numbers.

It looks like there's various steering wheel model numbers (probably differing on the packages the car has I guess?)... but some of them do overlap between the 2011 m37 and m56. So I'm gonna guess that they are in general the same size/shape.

Yep, you're probably right. Some might have different finishes too based on package...but if there is at least one instance of the parts overlapping then the wheel physically is the same...at least I'd believe it to be based on that info.
