Hello, I have owned my 2012 M37 for 3 years now, and have loved every minute. I have had a bunch of custom exhaust work done, starting with resonator delete, then muffler deletes, and pipe=size changing etc. etc. I have motordyne high-flow cats along with z1 performance intakes. I am ready to switch from my pieced together exhaust to a true cat-back system.

The issue I have is that, there are only a few systems I have seen. Ark, of course, is the best, but I don't want to spend $1,700 on an exhaust just for it to be beat up because I am very low to the ground. I see stillen has one, but I don't like there sound (way too quiet) and I see Top speed pro-1, but that is much too quiet.

My question is.. does anyone know if the g37 exhaust will fit the m37? I test fitted a 370z axle-back once, and the hangers and angles were way off, but it may be a different story for a g37 sedan.

Any information would be appreciated, if need be and there are no other alternatives, I will buy the top speed exhaust and cut out the resonators.

thanks in advance, and here is a photo of my ride!

I believe this has been discussed in a number of other exhaust threads on this forum...I'd start here: search.php?keywords=exhaust&fid%5B0%5D=10

i would just stick with what you have pieced together. gains will be minimal switching to a full catback and unless you hate the sound theres really no point in changing. your only options for a bolt up exhaust are Stillen and Ark.

I've been searching for a while and I too have the same question as the OP. Haven't been able to find anyone who has compared or said if a G37 sedan exhaust fits the M37.

Stillen list two different SKUs for the catback exhaust for the G37 Sedan and M37.

I am mainly looking for an HKS exhaust, in hopes that any form of exhaust from a g37 sedan or a q60 would indeed fit onto my M37, similar to how a g37 and a 370 can share certain exhausts, does anyone know of any?

I think its very unlikely for us to share an exhaust with a g37. We have a much bigger car and i'm sure the piping is curved differently.

I know that the stock exhausts are different...similar in design but different parts and measurements, so I would venture to guess that any aftermarket bolt on exhaust for the G37 sedan would be slightly different than one made for the M37. I believe it'll be close enough that a good muffler shop can make it work. Also, if you have the AWD option, that will be an issue as far as fitment. I found that out when I bought a custom X-pipe M56 exhaust for my M56x. The X-pipe would not clear the transfer case. I solved that problem by adding flex connectors between the manifolds and X-pipe which lengthened it enough to go around it. However, I had to subtract that same measurement from the dual pipes going through the tunnel so that the muffler flanges would line up.
