I will pick up a new 2007 m35x with 18 inch all season tires on Jn. 16th. I am turning in a 06 g35 6m coupe with 19 inch wheels and blizzaks. I want to mount them on the 07 m35x even though the front tires will be narrower. Anyone tried this move from 18 to 19 inch? 42 mm offset, do I have a problem?

Hmmm ... it should work out, although I am not hundred percent certain. The stock M offset (even for the AWD models) is a bit higher, so the lower 42mm offset will make the wheels be about 5mm further "out".

Given that you also mentioned a narrower tire on the 19" wheels, this is (a) probably small enough and (b) narrow enough a tire tread/section width, to do fine. If it doesn't, worst case, the tire may just be a teensy bit under the fender edge, which is better than the other side (where it can contact suspension components).

I'd recommend a fitment test, of course ...

Normally they recommend 17" winter tires as the best bet.
