Our 2006 M35x was a one-owner dealer maintained car owned by a good friend of ours until we bought it in 2020. We have stacks of receipts going back since new, 2 main keys and the wallet key, all books and records that came with the car down to the keyless entry guide that was hanging from the wiper stalk when new.
Unfortunately the car has spent it's whole life in Michigan where road salts have eaten away the underside like cancer. Now the rear subframe is completely gone where one of the control arms attaches to it and the control arm is no longer connected to anything on that side rendering the car unsafe to drive. Is this feasible to repair? I am just concerned that everything down there is so rusty that nothing will come apart anymore and all nuts/bolts will be seized solid
It's so sad because this car has been so good to us until now. Everything single thing works on the car and the interior is pristine.

Anything is repairable depending on the size of your wallet. I'd check the rest of the frame. If it's just spots, then it may be worth fixing. If it's the whole thing...then best to scrap it.
