M35x Premium Package w/ DVD in Center ArmRest

I've read the posts about the hack for the DVD player in the glove box. I don't see any information about the DVD player when it is in the Center Console armrest. I looked at the wiring in the center console but it doesn't look similar to the one described for the DVD player in the glove box. I'm looking at the wiring diagram for the dvd player but I am unable to make out which wire is for the parking brake. I'm not really interested in the NAV portion, only the DVD player.

just out of curiosity why dont you do the hack for the one in the glove box and just use that one?

The DVD player in the glove box never plays movies - it just spins the DVD for the Nav system. I don't have nav so I have no DVD in the glovebox, just the one in the centre console for the entertainment package. But I believe you still do the hack at the control box in the glovebox - the one with the bluetooth logo on it. I haven't done it yet, but I plan to at some point.

Ok so if I understand correctly ....

The published bypass gets implemented in the glove box for a disc that is played in the armrest. Interesting ... very interesting...

I just want to verify this before I tear my car apart and start cutting wires ...

Hi guys.. i just bought a m45 06 and i wana know if i can play dvd movies on the dvd rom where u put the nav cd in?
