I was taking a look at the drivers side engine mount while replacing the sway bar links and it looks as though the lower control arm on the drivers side needs to be removed to access the bottom nut for the engine mount. Can someone confirm this? Any other insight or tips for doing this job would be appreciated.

I was hoping to find the mounting holes for the G35/350z engine torque damper on the passenger side frame rail but the M35 isn't quite the same, so I will be replacing the engine mounts to firm things up a bit. If anyone has mounted a torque damper in an M i'd be interested to see what was done.

The lack of info on M stuff is tough to get used to coming from the BMW community

Yeah, and it's made worse when someone has an X/AWD...a lot less folks seem to have AWD's...

I wouldn't have expected the G stuff to work though...I think the only thing that partially works is the front (or is it rear?) struts.
