M35h-37-56 Rain sensor LD windshield - has anyone replaced?

It does not look like something the jobbers have started with yet. Are these an Infiniti only item? Will we lose the warranty if Infiniti doesn't replace? I think the one for my old Jaguar was over $1000. Anyone?

In answer to my own query, only Infiniti sells the w/s. I am in Canada so id is $1400. I found orderinfinitiparts.com will sell the OEM w/s for $750 complete with insulator molding and sensor. so no quite as crazy.

Most of the people on the forum don't own those cars. Glad you were able to figure it out though!
