I finally got around to installing my Fuga 650 body kit. Had car repainted same color. Since the rims were all scratched up, and I can't afford nice ones yet, I had the rims painted black. Painters choice to not paint Infiniti logo on rims. Not sure about this yet as I wanted it all black. These are just a few pics. I'll try to take better ones this weekend, showing the different details.

First a few pics of when I bought my car in 2007; it was a totaled vehicle (now with a rebuilt title).

I really like the logo not painted. Painter made a good choice.

Link to the kit?

Also, a picture from the front and rear (head on shots)?

Thanks. Updated your title. I didn't realize it was the Impul (which I'm not interested in). Thought it was some new one.

I think I'm starting to like it too. It's definitely unique.

I noticed in your signature you have done quite a few things to the engine. Have you dyno'd it? How did you manage the fit the DC headers?

Nice looking M.

Thanks. The DC headers were a perfect fit. When I got the UPREV tune, it was dyno'd. The guy said his particular Mustang dyno gave very low readings (lower than other Mustang dynos). I think it came in around 275rwhp. Because Mustang dynos are "load" dynos, you add about 140hp to equal an inertia dyno, then divide by about .85 to get to fwhp. Some say instead of dividing by .85, to add 60 hp for power loss through a typical chassis. My best guess is that fwhp is between 475 and 490. I'd like to get this to 600. :chuckle:

Good article explaining hp.

BTW, for anyone in S. Florida, I had my car done at Eddie DiMeglio's Collision Experts in Davie.

kit looks nice! did you get it from the website linked? Too bad you couldnt fill and shave off that license plate holder. I think one day when you get a second to paint the fogs black and the center of the grill black with some plasti dip it might flow a tad more with your wheels. It look great now, just some ideas to mess with.

Yea, I'm starting to agree with the painter too. With the rims looking this nice, I'm in no rush to get new ones. But some day....

Thanks bro. I bought the kit a few years ago from some guy on one of these forums who paid $5k for it and never installed it. I got it for about $1,500. I'm def open for ideas. Creativity, color matching and visualizing are not my strong suits. I like your ideas, although I can't visualize them. I'll have to use microsoft paint to see what it looks it. I didn't even see the license plate holder until the car was painted. I'm not sure what to put there now, until I can either shave it or fill it in - I hadn't thought of these options either. Any other ideas?

Also not sure what to do with the little bit of chrome on the hood and the trunk lid.

In my effort to be unique, I also added blinker mirror covers and the roof spoiler which were not part of the kit. I'm now having second thoughts about the roof spoiler.

the impul link you have shows the fogs area painted black along with the rear bumper area near the mufflers black. I dont like that rear part but that's another option you can do. As for the chrome trim on the hood, it doesnt look bad on your car but getting it painted to match the oem color will also look good. I painted mine and think it flows better when our grill doesnt have any. So when are you going to get some 1/4 mile times with that built motor? Havent seen you post in a while until now.

look what I found...I still think leaving the outlines of the grill grey and matching the top chrome to color match would look better.

I like your ideas. I wish I had them before it went to the shop. My next stop is the muffler shop, it's just too damn loud. As for the 1/4 mile, I don't know when I'll have time to get to an event. I'm working a lot and going to school for another degree. Not to mention, an awesome girlfriend that I love spending time with. :bigthumb:

As for not posting, the divorce took a big toll on me, both financially and emotionally. For a while, I just didn't feel like posting, nor did I have much to post about.

Thanks, you could wait for the paint to fully cure and then plastidip the areas and if you don't like it remove it. Did you ever post a sound clip with the built motor? If not could you make one before you quiet the beast lol? I remember when you had those troubling times, glad it's done and you have a new person to occupy your time with :)

Beautiful job @azeiler!

I like the kit. I like that the painter left the symbol on the rims. But most importantly I love to hear that you did some serious work to your car. My next step is the DC Headers and exhaust. I'd love to hear what your car ran in the quarter mile. We've been discussing quarter miles lately. Who did your motor? What was the cost of it?

Slap a video so we can hear that bad boy. Congrats on your car.

Thanks Steelcity. Bought the Stage 2 long block from Import Parts Pro http://www.importpartspro.com/.

Then had Billet Design install it ($1,800) and eventually had them do the Uprev tune ($500). He could have easily done the whole build, but Import Parts Pro was a little less expensive, even including the shipping. This guy knows what the hell he's doing. http://www.billetdesign.com/home.php or https://www.facebook.com/BilletDesign?ref=ts

That's awesome! I love how you just went all out on your car. Billet is right by you in Fort Lauderdale too.

Thanks for the links. Please keep us posted on quarter mile if you ever come around to it. I'm sure your car sounds sick.

wow, looking good azeiler!

I never did get around to finding time/money etc., to get my impul kit installed..and now that I have an 09, the rear would have to customized I think pretty considerably to get it to fit.
