Help! I have a leak on the driver's side floor board. Anyone experienced this before?

How much water? What color is it? What does it smell like? Does it occur while using the AC or without?

It only happens when it rains. It's as if there is a leak or a drainange problem. Carpet is damp underneath the floor mat, smells mildewy afterwards.

Do you see any water damage to the inside of the car's liners (Roof/pillar) any discoloration around these areas? One immediate thing you could try is to buy some silicone lubricant spray and spray the rubber seal around the sunroof. Then using a soft cloth with flat head screwdriver saturate the cloth with that lubricant and insert in between the sunroof seal and the body slowly move it around the perimeter to clean the two surfaces and ensure good contact. Do this with the sunroof closed. Also make note if there are any obvious signs of seal wear or gaps. Then just monitor during the next rainfall. If it's still leaking it could be coming from somewhere else. Either way I recommend you not ignore this unless you want your drivers floorboard to rust and fall out with you still driving :ohno:

i had this problem with my legend and my teg it was the liner right under the windshield or wiper blades that had come apart all it took was some adhesive and it was repaired. hope that is the problem and nothing more serious.

Here's another thread that might contain helpful information:

I'm hoping not to see this issue again this winter (finally back in a garage), and I had pretty much forgotten about it until this thread was brought back from the dead.
