M35 Sport - want to do an interior trim switch? My wood for your platinum..

Guys,Have an M35 Sport with the interior wood trim - would like to switch to the platinum interior. Dealer wants $1,000 for the switch - so wondering if anyone is interested in taking my wood trim and giving me your platinum trim? Just thought of saving myself some cash and helping someone who wants the wood trim at the same time...

In order to ensure no damage to the panels, we can have the interior trim pulled out at the Dealer. That would be a way of quality control i suppose unless anyone has a better idea.

isn't there something you can find online and do it yourself? every car i've had there have been specific instructions on how to do this so it can save you some money

A flat screwdriver, a cloth, and a little patience will do it, but his point is to make wure there are no scratches and such IF that is a big deal.

Yeah doing it is no issue - the actual parts are nearly $1000 at the local infinity store - hence I was wondering if anyone would swap with me...

If you still haven't found a swapper in January I'll be glad to do it with you. I'll be buying an M45 Sport, which will almost always have the platinum and I prefer the wood.

The wood matchs the Orange text of the nav screen and the orange theme. Why would u wana lose the wood trim? Just put furniture polish on it lol
