I have some cracks forming in my seats so I was looking around and found an entire black interior. However, I have a sport model and the interior is not from a sport model. It also has the Bose seats, which mine does not. Is the harness the same in the seats or completely different. Both Infiniti dealerships near me were no help. I do not care if the Bose speakers work. Thanks in advance for any info.

I personally don't know, but if I did have a clue, it would be related to the year of the car. Please share the year for your car and for the used interior. That would be useful information for someone who would know. Thanks and bump!

Not sure either, but I'd guess the harness is the same save for the 3 or 4 speaker wires. Typically by the time you have the in-speaker seats, you have the vented seats too, which overcomes that hurdle.

Anecdotally, I have seen a car being sold with a non-BOSE driver seat while the passenger seat had the speakers. Not sure which of the 2 was the replacement, and there's no guarantee that because it was there it was working, but my limited knowledge of Nissans says they should work with minimal effort.

If you'd like to be certain, I'd check the wiring in the seats section of the FSM.

Or if you're upto the task, remove your seat and take a pic of the harnesses. I am stripping an 06 sport with the tech package so we can compare harnesses visually.

The donor car is an 06 M35 and mine is on 07 M35 Sport. I can't believe I forgot that detail.

Thanks Ed,
I'm not sure I'll have time do take my seat out but I may drop over to a salvage yard to take pictures. Thanks for the help!

For what it's worth, the seat is only held by four 14mm bolts. If you can move your seat forward and backward, the task is quite east... much easier than removing seats from a dead car in a junkyard.

Or just raise the seat bottom as high as possible in the rear and sneak a picture of the wires if you can see them.

Leaving town for a few days but I'll take pictures on Monday/Tuesday. Thanks again for the help!
