M35 phone database doesn't store any numbers

I have entered at least 8 names and phone numbers in my phone book data base(M35 ) a few times and none of them are stored into memory. My driving logs of places I have been stay in memory fine.
Anyone have experience with their phone call data base not storing names and numbers. I hate going to the dealer for servicing something like this but unless there is someway to reset the memory function, I will have no choice. I was fortunate to get an extended factory warranty that goes through August of 2017, so I'm lucky I won't be having any expense for a while.

Try entering the secret diag mode and erasing all numbers to start again. Just a thought but not guaranteed to work. Have you tried to send your phone book via bluetooth?

thanks for the reply, but what is the secret diag mode? guess that's why it's a secret. I enter phone numbers and they don't stay in the data base, maybe it's time for a service call. All of my map routes have stayed in.
