I'm trying to work out what you're typing - perhaps using punctuation?

If you're asking about the difference in brightness and the difference in distance, here are a few things to keep in mind:

The best kelvin ratings for headlamps is between 4500k - 6000k. The closer the color is to natural daylight, the further the light travels, lighting up more of the roadway. The closer to blue you go, the less it travels. Look at the cars without HID bulbs who install those blue lamps - a cool colour, but it doesn't light up much of the road.

Also, the power of the ballast has an effect too. 55w kits are almost double the light output of 35w kits - BUT, the higher powered ballasts tend to wash out the light color so that a 55w 8000k headlamp will only make about the same light output and colour as a 35w 6000k bulb.

For max visibility, use 3k for fog lamps (white lamps will not cut through fog), and no more than 6k for headlamps. Anyone using 8000 - 12000k usually do it for the 'effect' and I guess they don't mind only seeing 5- 10ft in front of them at night.

i tried 8000k with oem ballast afs/ I was not able to see you tonight Reading your message maybe it's possible I can try it in the aftermarket ballast it was not bright at all and what i was saying is when people try to do 8k hid with afs Did you guys run into this problem not able to see I might try ballast or just leave it also what i was saying is my dads car g37 i put in 8k and that car does not have afs so, it has to be some thing with the ballast or afs maybe the bulbs needed more power like you said Have you ever heard anything like this

What brand bulbs ? Do you have the Matsushita Gen IV oem ballasts if so then these are one of the best ballasts. I doubt AFS has to do with brightness. Perhaps the lens and now I am talking both the projector lens and housing lens. If your previous car and your dads g37 have clear lens on projectors then that could be it .

Sorry, never heard of any problems with the 8k's or the AFS or ballasts. I use Morimoto 6k's and couldn't be happier with the brighness and the the distance. I had the dealer install them cuz I can't be bothered to remove wheels and wheel well pieces, etc LOL.
