Has anybody heard in person the sound of Megan exhaust on a M35/45. Also, I want that 4 tip exhaust look. Any suggestions?

I just got mine and its niiiice! I love the look the mufflers they are mirror finish and the sound is just the way "i" wanted low and not too loud. The duel exhaust tips is what i was looking for and Megan was the only one i could find. Also the price was Excellent $290 and $60 for the install. the sound is a little deeper and noticeable at low RPM's but when ur gunning it u cant hear the exhaust but i can hear my injin cold air tho! fits good and the looks even better!!Hope this helps.Sk350gt on http://www.cardomain.com, will have the pics of the exhaust soon.

The sound videos are a let down really. I don't hear anything. It sounds just like the O.E. mufflers..... What's the point? Did I miss something? They don't add power. I'll give Megan props for keeping the dual exit styling though. Fit and finish looks good. I seen a different video of a M45 on Youtube that had the Megan exhaust. It was louder and sounded really good. Though they may have used the complete cat-back pipes as well... I don't know. What I do know is...it sounded good. This is how IT should sound: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BhDbp_oyfjY

those are just aftermarket tips that the muffler shop welded on for him the cat back exhaust is stillen.i ordered the megan exhaust with the cat back that will make a whole lot of a big difference instead of just the axle back.that will add Hp and a nice tone.

blkm35xw/bourbon 4300k hid on the fogs, leds on reverse and license plate, carbon tint 38%,jouney pkg, tech pkg, areo kit, meganexhaust with the full mid piping, soon sick 22's and yellow brembo brake covers.end of story

Let us know how well the full kit performs. I'm just hesitant because I don't want to waste money on an exhaust kit that just makes noise. If it's not making more power, then it's not going on my car. I would really prefer the Stillen kit due to the research they have put into their exhaust systems. If they engineered one specifically for the M35 and another one for the M45, then you know they put time in getting the most power as possible from their kits. If Megan would do some dyno research, and make decent gains, then I would buy their kit.

I just installed the Megan axle back system and I am very pleased with the results. The look alone is worth the cost to me. The exhaust tone is deeper, especially when you first start up. There is no irritating resonance inside while on the highway. I can't feel any more "horsepower," but frankly I didn't really expect much from an axle back system.

When viewed from behind, or from the side, the polished stainless steel tips and mufflers gives off a high tech/high end look, especially when you compare it to the backs of Beemers and Mercedes. You can't help but notice that there is something special going on under the car.

Might be good for you, but not for me. I can understand just a muffler replacement not giving performance gains. I haven't seen replacing the muffler alone increase power over the OEM muffler unit on any car.You have to do more than just that. For a sound tone change it's a good start. To increase power from the exhaust system the flow needs to be freed up some, but not all of it. High flow cats and hollowed out resonators will help in the quest for more power.I would just like to see some feed back on the complete Megan exhaust kit. Preferably some dyno numbers over stock or some 1/4mi track times.Man....this is a harder decision to make than I thought it would be. The Stillen kit would already be under my car if they offered dual exit tips.....

The only two quad tips exhasuts seems to be the Megan Racing and the Junction Produce. Very different options price wise and looks.

I would hope the vendors take notice and make a full catback with quad tips!
