Does anyone have their M lowered on Eibachs with KYBs? Did you have to you camber screws or can you drop withoug? Any pics with your drop?

What would you say are the best to drop your M with?

best would be a coilover set-up

I have heard that KYB are to soft for Eibachs, most use them as an oem replacement as the stealers price is just too high for oem struts

My car is lowered on Eibachs and KYB's. The KYB's might be a little soft. But compared to stock its stiffer.

I think the question is what type of drop are you trying to get..? Slammed, mild drop, aggressive stance etc.... The eibachs are great springs, but I went with H-techs since I wanted to get rid of the stock wheel gap look, but still maintain comfort.... I have the KYB sport shocks and it rides well... I think once I pick up another daily driver, I will change to eibachs or coilovers for the M

Did either of you use camber screws or they are not neccesary with the Eibach or H-techs?

I was dropped on eibach almost right away with 22" and no camber bolts! I exchanged my wheels (22") pretty quick so tires didn't show much wear but when I went to 20" WORK wheels I was really happy with the set up and kept it for a while... When I sold them I noticed I had camber wear inside so with my Vossen set up I went with full adjustable upper control arms up front and rear camber adjusting bars (both eibach/same as spc)! I highly recommend the eibach springs over anything even coilovers but that's just me :gotme I've had d2 coilovers and it was SICK slammed but the eibach is just right IMO :dblthumb: my stock struts/shocks were only at 33k-78k+ miles so I used the eibach springs with OEM not kyb and they worked out great!!
My best advise would be if you drive your car daily I would invest in the camber kit! If it's just a weekend car you should be fine... Also I should mention the front is more noticeable than the rear... Definitely invest in the front! :dblthumb:
