M35 Looking for Shift lock cover and advice on wheel sound

Hi guys - just picked up a 06 M35X. So far I am loving the car. There are couple of things that are annoying me so far are;

1) its missing the shift lock cover and I searched the forum and web briefly but couldnt find the part. Any one know were I may find that tiny replacement cover?
2) I will continue to search this forum for answer, but I have noticed a strange rubbing sound when turning right at parking lot speed. Almost when the steering is more than half way turned. I only happens on the right turn and occasionally it doesnt. I didnt notice this when test driving it. Any ideas?

I don't. Dealer sells it as part of the whole shifter assembly. Ask junkyards or EBAY.

I bought one of these from the dealer recently. The parts guy was able to look it up and ordered it. $12.00 for a tiny piece of black plastic, but the shifter looks better without the empty hole!

wow really is it black? I guess I never paid close attention in other cars. I always thought it to be chrome to match the unit, guess not. I will hit the local dealer then.

Mine is also missing when I bought the car, don't wana pay shipping that's more expensive than the part. No sense

I have grown used to it by now. If I find it locally someday I will pick one. Since its black I may put a cut out of some plastic and electric tape combo to fill it in.

best part is that it will fit m37:)dealer said it wont for sure...quess what,fits perfect.
