m35 knock sensor

hey guys I over heard someone saying something about putting a resistor on the knock sensor for the vq35de engine. which then release like 12hp? is this legit? or just some type of myth?

Definitely a myth...also, maybe I'm wrong, but I believe on OUR version of the VQ35DE, you can't even get to the knock sensor. I vaguely remember trying to look for it and never found it.
