Long story short. I have a m35 with a chrismas light up dash. So once i turn on the car i drive off but as soon as i brake automatically goes to third gear and it wont move even if i shift to manual. Can somebody guide me. I hear brake problems, camshaft, transmission. I have never took a car to dealer hoping somebody can help dont mind paying a mechanic that specialize in infiniti. Thanks to any advice

Welcome to NICO!
I'm going to move this thread to the M section so you hopefully get better answers, but it sounds like the vehicle is trying to tell you something... you should be able to hook up a scanner and read the codes off of it.

Welcome to the forum. Yes, definitely get a scanner plugged into it and read the codes and report back.

Definitely hook up to scanner. I keep an Actron scanner in my M's trunk all the time. These cars are complicated and require qualified service and even if you don't take it to the Infiniti dealer for the initial reading you may have to take it there the get it straightened out. Personally I don't let anyone but Infiniti work on my M. If this car has not been serviced by Infiniti you may have a lot of issues going on. If you bring your car in for just an oil change Infiniti does a complimentary multi-point inspection. I doubt that any independent mechanic that specializes in Infiniti cars is going to cost less that an Infiniti dealer. Anyway if Infiniti does the work and its not right you have recourse. I don't like throwing money away either. I change my air filters, cabin filter, seat filters, wipers, etc. Changing the oil myself is not worth my time. Everything else I leave to the Infiniti dealer. Too much at stake to screw up. I have 79,500 on the clock and except for issues with the driver seat and passenger mirror (covered under warranty) the car has been outstanding.
