I'm using the AAI-NIS and I'm not using a factory install Sat Radio.

The AAI-NIS2 is a little different. I've seen pictures. There should be two sets of wires and a RCA Right/Left, one set that goes to the 12 pin connector that plugs into the back of the audio unit (the male allows for factory sat radio and female plugs into radio). The other should have a single red wire that goes to a male/female 10 pin connector. That red wire is what requires 12v ACC power. (Turns the device on and off with the ignition switch)

**FYI, make sure you have the right purple wire. It is pin 7 on the 20 pin connector it should be a purple wire with two silver dots.**

First remove the cup hold (it just pulls up).

Next remove the four screws holding in the middle tray and pull it.

Now pull down on the shift cover and remove the u-clip that holds the handle in place:

Next pop up the shift lock cover.

Press the shift lock and put shifter in to drive

Remove the two screws from the lower part of the radio face plate and remove

Next remove the four screws, two on the top metal bracket and two way back about 2/3 the way down next to the CD changer(not visible in image), on the audio unit and CAREFULLY slide out. I recommend putting down a rag to not scratch up the metal trim.

Unplug the factory sat cable.

I spliced into the ACC power on the Audio Unit.

Plug in the AAI-NIS and run audio cables to input device (iPod).

(Those blue butt connectors that are on the back on the audio unit go to my audio system.)
