M35 Hood Shocks Help

Just bought a 2006 M35 and had bad hood shocks been looking around and came across this can anyone tell me of this is right?

I don't think 40 lbs of force is too much on our hood--which seems kinda heavy. It doesn't pop the hood enough with crazy force--it feels right to me. I can't remember what the OEM specs were, though.

thanks man...so the ones you ordered with that part number 10695 work great? Dont open the hood to fast and extendes high enough etc
