M35 Fan very loud!!!!!!

I recently notice the radiator / ac fan is very loud! As soon as I start the car the fans come on and stay on the entire time, seems like it's over working it ltself, wasn't always this loud, woke up one day took her out and she was humming at me loudly, as if the fans are stuck on high. What could this be?

Either a faulty fan relay or a bad IPDM/ER. (Intelligent power distribution control module/ engine room)

I'll check the fan rely in the a.m, what is the IPDM/ER? Is that the electric circuit board that's on the fan itself?

No, the IPDM is elsewhere in the engine and controls damn near half the car.

It's behind the battery and controls all non powertrain functions basically.

Holy wack a mole! Hopefully it's just the rely and not that. Yesterday while driving car pretty much died on my while at a stop light, little to no power was coming on, got battery check and bad battery, could the fan running so high cause my battery to die?

I'm having the same issue. Is it possible to get the Fan control Module by its self? I have the part number written on the back of the module and i'm unable to find it alone but rather with the whole fan assembly..

P/N on back of device was A18700A28001. I can find that part nummber used but not new.
