M35 Computer Problems Common?

I have a 2007 M35 with just over 30,000 miles on it. I bought it brand new in January 2008 with 24 miles on the odo.

It behaves strangely sometimes - the memory seat and steering wheel stop halfway to their destination every so often. Worse than that, though, is the voice command system. When I press the voice command button and say, for example, "Call Home," "Call Home" will appear on the screen, but then the system freezes and does nothing until I cancel out and go back in.

I've asked the dealer to look at it, but of course, they can't duplicate the problem.

Anybody else having computer issues?

Infiniti electronics have a very high reliability rating and are not prone to failure. That being said, I do notice some minor quirks on rare occassions but I think they have been more my fault for interrupting the system. For example, if I unlock the door, lock it again and then unlock it a second time all within a couple seconds while the steering column or seat is adjusting itself it will sometimes stop mid-cycle. It does correct itself when I start the car though, so I don't think it is the same thing you're talking about. You car is still under warranty, I would be persistent about getting the techs to correct the problem... if it is a problem. Eventually the problem will reproduce itself for them.
