Well.... here it is about 9 months later and I have the Universal Air Suspension setup with the AccuAir E-level system over D2 Racing coilovers (Just remove the springs from the coilovers and slide the front bags over the front coilovers.) I love my air setup and personally, I think the ride quality is just as good if not better than the TEIN lowering springs.

I know just about a month ago I posted on this thread that I was ALMOST sold on the idea of going air but I went with d2 coilovers instead... well, I've since installed coilovers and only rode on them for about one week!! I know... Now going air since the opportunity came up... I too will be able to share my opinion on coilovers vs. air bag set up!!! I only hope it's a good one!! :gotme

The Set up and opportunity I have at hand is like this, so for now I will go with air over stock struts... My stock struts are still very good and firm so not compromising much. As far as the other guys wondering about the whole coilovers to air set up upgrade coming do soon is that I couldn't stand not being able to adjust on the fly!!! Coilovers were great as long as had them (one week) lol!!
I will keep everyone posted!! :bigthumb:

For the fronts, you should be able to remove the top hat of the coilovers, remove the springs, and slide the bag on in its place. For the rears, you just remove the top hat and take the spring out and leave it out. Then the bag will go where the stock springs went.

sounds simple enough, just need to find a reputable shop to do it and also would need to know what to buy. I think I am able to buy the separate components at UAS website. They allow you to do this, but I would need to know exactly what parts I should get.

It all depends on the kind of $$$ you are willing to spend. You can piece together a cheap air setup for $1200-$1500 or you can go all out for like $5000. If you call UAS ask for Zack. He is the one who walked me through EVERYTHING. He was very upfront and he wasnt trying to sell me s*** I didnt need.

Rm450gt had his bags installed somewhere in NYC, he might have some info on where to go for installation.
