Do you need to align the wheels when you replace the tires on the M35. Mine seems fine as is with no pull and the steering wheel is perfectly straight. I do note some inside wear on all tires but the tech said that is due to the make-up of the suspension, so I think the alignment might be just a moneymaker. Any thoughts or experiences

No, no alignment is needed. Just enjoy your new tires.

You may not "need" to do it, but it does protect your investment if you are due an alignment. I just had a set of Conti DWS put on last week, and opted for the alignment because I will be traveling approximately 6,000+ miles the next 3 months and wanted an additional sense of security of premature wear.

Any time you get new tires, it is a good idea to get an alignment. Even if your car does not pull in a certain direction, does not mean all the alignment specs are within tolorence.

I also had Conti DWS' put on my M 2 weeks ago at 59,800. Moved from CT to GA. These tires are without a doubt the best I've had. Running at 90 MPH no road noise and great handling. Regarding alignment. I had my car aligned at 39,000 didn't feel like it needed an alignment but the machine definitely indicated it was out of alignment. Had it aligned 2 weeks ago with new tires and again it didn't feel like it needed it, but it did. If your going to spend a lot of money on tires you should get an alignment. DITTO M35 Sport!!

Personally I always get my wheels balanced and aligned when I get new tires. Although if there was no unnatural wear on the previous tires and the car drives perfectly straight then I suppose you could go without an alignment.
