Hello,

I'm in the market for an M and had a chance to sit in a couple briefly at the dealership. The M37 felt like it had substantially less leg room in the rear than the M35, even after I moved the front seat up a bit. I'm 6'3, mostly legs.

I want to be able to cart around 4 adults comfortably, fit an infant seat, etc.

While we're at it, how's the usable trunk space in one compared to the other? I'd like to mitigate the risk of having to use an SUV as a daily family hauler.

thanks!

I am surprised that the leg room in the M37/56 dropped enough to be perceptible compared to the M35/45 ... but, it clearly seems like it did.

Hmmm ... I don't know about the trunk space. Might be worth looking at the specs in the manuals (see link in my sig) and looking at the dimensions.

the thing that may contribute to the rear leg room is that the back of the front seats in the m37/56 are hard plastic, vs fabric/leather in the m35/45, so there's no *give* and my bony knees just knock against the seatback uncomfortably.

The method of measuring rear legroom is grey, at best, so I'd say it's more of a must see than a must read thing.
