Okay, so I bought this M30 at the end of January this year, and it has suffered from constant overheating issues. First, i had to replace the top hose from the motor to the radiator with a brand new hose, then I had to rig the bleeder valve to stop leaking with a screw (i do plan to replace this). Next, the top end cap on the radiator cracked, and I had to replace that. Then, to try and reduce the amount of heat in the system, we installed a external transmission cooler out of a Ford Explorer to cool the transmission. It appeared to stop the car from heating up... as fast.

The system is still boiling if the car is driven for prolonged lengths of time!!!?

We've checked every part of the system. Does anyone have any ideas or similar experiences? The only other thing I feel left to swap would be the thermostat...

I would bet money that your Head gasket is blown it is better to drop a new engine or re-build the one you have, i would check to see if the block is ok ( not Cracked)

How about the radiator? is part of it clogged.Do a pressure test of the cooling system. Also, let the car sit over night and watch when you take out the bolt slowly on the oil pan and see if there is any water come out first. if there is, it is more than likely you have a head gasket problem.

New radiator and Tstat will SURELY fix this problem.. If you havent tried replacing the radiator or Tstat you surely havent "tried" to solve the problem.
