Hi guys, Still can't get my car started.

I looked at the thread about checking ecu codes. So I took the kick panel out and followed the instructions, no blinking light? Does your check engine light have to be on to get codes? Mines not, or was not when it was running.

The other thing that has me puzzled is that the instructions to clear your codes, are the same as reading codes? Am I missing something? Did I erase my codes?

Any help would be appreciated,Todd Templeton

If the red LED is not coming on that means the ECU is either fried or not getting power.
