1990 infiniti m30
Going in is a L96 6.0 vortec with a t56 trans.
In order to make easy i first put in a s13 cross memeber. Requires drilling on two new holes. Very easy.
Parts used -
S13 fron crossmember (along with lcas, rack, tension rods)
CXRacing s13 ls swap mounts (adapter bracket made for pass side of trans mount
Canton racing oil pan kit (required drill and tap of one bolt holes that was not used with truck oil pan)
Wiring - (in progress)
Im using lt1swap.com as a guide for the wiring. Fairly difficult for my first time because it got tangled.
Go with a 4 wire harness. 4 fuses 2 relays. 1 extra for starter.
Engine and trans fitment - (done)
Fits fairly easy with absolutely no cutting! Most likley cause of the the large auto trans that was made with the car originally.
Headers - (in progress)
Daft innovations is able to make sets for the m30
I have not research s13 headers.
May go with forwards facing headers and straight pipes for the time being cause of costs
L96 to T56 -
Easiest clutch flywheel application found so far would be the ls2/ls7 clutch/flyhweel kit. No mods needed
If you have a older L96 engine be weary of the extended crank on older models. You trans shaft will not fit without modification!
Pictures coming soon.
