Ok so I hear all this stuff about how the 240sx S13 suspension is basically a bolt up to the M30, but what is the spring rate differences, and height and what not.

basically I am pretty sure the M30 weighs significantly more than the 240. so if I were to buy a suspension package that says it lowers a 240 two inches, what will it lower the M30?

what all do i need to buy to do the swap? strut mounts, strut bearings, spring seats, and does anybody have a DIY written up anywhere? I have searched and searched, but have come up unsuccessful.

Main reason i want to do the swap is simply because I just picked up a 90 M30 and it needs a lot of help. the rear has absolutely no dampers left, so if you hit a bump at all while turning the back wants to let loose. I have been a VW guy for some time now, and have owned & modded 14 of them so I know a thing or two about cars, but this car is a whole new experience for me.

I am interested in this very same thing. Did you ever get any information on this?

Any info you have would be greatly appreciated.

i personally havent done this yet, but the parts are said to be very easy to install, with the drilling of a hole in the rear to convert from 3 bolts to 2 bolts.most posts ive seen are with coilover setups, that way you can adjust the height to your liking. id bet that a 2" lower from the s will be a bit more on the m.http://forums.f31club.com/phpB...nsionheres a post from someone who used coilovers
