Hey guy's,

Anybody know where I can find some cheap struts for my M30? Or if there is something that cross references from another model. I found them at NAPA but they were $369 for the front and $224 for the rear, OUCH.

Thanks for any input,Tom

No the Q struts will not work.

http://www.everythinginfiniti.com

Is a great site with wholesale prices on dealer parts.

They were having a sale on a kit of all 4 struts recharges or something like that. Check it out.

Yes! I also heartily endorse Joe Tsensky. He treats his customers well, has excellent prices and does little things for NICO members (like sometimes shipping AirBorne Express at a low cost) when they need some extra help and urgent delivery, etc.

I would like to know more about the 240 strut fit and how much you would like for the used front struts. I know that the M30 platform has got to be based on the 240sx platform and wondered if I could replace the struts with 240sx struts. And how good is the sport/comfort mode on the origional struts.

Thanks, Tom

Tom, Please let me know how far you got with this and which way you decided to go!!

I am in the same boat. I just picked up an M30 Convertible on Ebay and the struts are dead as rocks. I paid $1425 and replacing the struts will cost more than that at this point. I'd rather spend the $ on other parts of the car like paint!

Conversely If I find a solution I'll let you know as well.As it is I am calling a local dealer to see what they say about this 240/m30 compatibility. I may also visit a suspension shop to see if they can just throw something in that fits and works. I'm not concerned about "high performance" at this point just getting the ride to an acceptable level for normal driving etc.
