24 mpg is great for an M. Other than that you got a great deal. You can always get another seat if it bothers you much.luke2136 wrote:Not many responses here...
I'm an elderly person who was looking for a car to make the 70 round trip to work that got better mileage than the '70 Pontiac Catalina I was driving.
Recently, a used car dealer opened in the tiny town where I live. One day this black M30 coupe showed up on his lot. It had less than 48,000 miles (Carfax verified) and was almost flawless. The driver's seat seat has a huge hole in the bolster where the PO's evil mutt chewed it, and the radio doesn't work right (naturally) but everything else works. The body is pristine, the paint is too. The interior is spotless and the rear seat looks like no one's ever sat there. The original M30 floor mats are there. It has new tires, too. No leaks or rust.
The dealer was asking $3800 for it. A couple of weeks later he dropped the price to $2700 with a 90 day warranty so I bought it. A practically new car for cheap.
24 mpg is a lot better than 10.
