m30 only starts once a day?

This seems like a strange problem to me, my car has ahd trouble in the past but i recently put a new motor in it and its been running fine for months. However, the other day the car started, i drove to my destination and when leaving it wouldnt start, just continued to turn over. The next day i came back and it started and ran fine, then once turned off it wouldnt start again. Came back the next day and so on, seems to only start once a day but otehrwise its fine. Any ideas?

I had a similar situation but it would start after letting it rest for anywhere between 10 minutes and an hour. Does your car crank? Mine would crank, but just not seem to "catch" is the best way I can describe it, and it wouldn't do it all of the time. At times it would start just fine, as you describe. If this is how it is acting check the fuel relay. I think the part cost me about $20 and now it is fine.

Luckily the engine transmission is identical to 1985-89 300 z so there should be many Z specialty shops available to trouble shoot.
