so i was at my grandmothers house today and finally figured out what her car was and it was an m30. I am just wondering if an m30 in almost perfect condition would be considered "rare" I dont see many driving around these days.

Uhhhh, yeah I guess you can call them rare but "rare" usually goes along with desirable as well. Those cars are pretty rare because nobody ever wanted them. Kinda the same thing with 240s but on a smaller scale. No one ever wanted a 240 until they heard of drifting. Maybe the same will happen to the m30....doubtful.

They have potential, but there's less "bolt on" stuff for them.

They share the Z31 300ZX drive train.

Decent cars.

i've seen some dude that converted it to 5 spd or something like that and used it to drift but i don't really remember..

IMO older infinitis weren't as good as what they are now. (can't stand the interior of m30, although the exterior looks nice sort of like a s13 coupe)
