m30 convertible top

The top on my m30 just started acting up. It goes about 1/4 of the way and then just quits. Is this a major or expensive endeavor?

common issue in verts man. Remember these are older cars, so things get worn down.

someone on f31club.com replaced the vert motor hoses kuz his hoses were worn out and leaking.
