Something ain't right. I'll start with worse case scenario of what COULD BE the problem.

Newer battery killed. Changed out alternator (pain in the a** ), then started KAPUT BATTERY with battery charger(start mode) and try to drive 5 mile home at NIGHT. Incorrectly thought that vehicle, once started would make it home. Unfortunately it died twice and took 2 jump starts to make it home. I replaced battery the next day and drove it around for 3 days and now THIS BATTERY seems like it's a GONER. Did I already blow out the alternator that was such a b**** to install by not changing out what was known to be a bad battery before running it :bs: ? (Maybe I blew out the diodes by doing this) I really hope not because it really sucked lining up those 2 bolts that hold the alternator in place :ohno: . They should put a little point on the bolts to make it easier :wtf2: .

That being said if this is not it then I figure I got a short somewhere, maybe at the fusible links because I changed out the battery terminals and for some unknown reason they are connected to the positive battery terminal.

Feedback ?

Before you condemn your alternator you need to check your fuse links and check ALL your fuses

Battery DID RECHARGE but there is only so many times that can go on, I know. Am going to have OLD ALTERNATOR bench tested since I have not returned it yet and my chargeing system checked out, both at Advance Auto.

How do you test FUSIBLE LINKS ?

When you say check fuses, do you mean start pulling them to see what device might be shorting out (test light at the battery)?

Just make sure you getting battery voltage at B+ terminal at the alternator.
Check your fuses with your test light.

Tested my charging system at Advance Auto. Both the battery and alternator tested good but LOW VOLTAGE. WTF does that mean ?
