M smoking from rear passenger firewall

so I went to drive my 06 M which has not moved in about 6 weeks except from one side of the driveway to the other, and I noticed smoke coming from the hood. after I checked under the hood it appears it is coming from the rear left side of the engine(passenger) and it only happens after about 10 minutes of the car running. the car does not overheat or the temp gauge does not go above the normal mark, it also smells like something plastic is burning. about 3 months ago I had the radiator, thermostat, cooling fans and shroud replaced at the dealership. I also added a Injen CAI also. But the car has maybe 50 miles on it in the last 2 months or so, so I was thinking maybe a hose had rotted out or cracked since it sits dormant for so long. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Could be your valve cover, mine leaks from the spark plug tube seals and they overflow with oil that drips onto the headers which causes smoke sometimes

Also,
After 6 weeks, battery may have discharged some. Fluid level could be low.
How old is your battery?
Your fuses / Relays are in that area, so snoop around & see if you find anything amiss.

Lastly, heater core is in that area. Any smell of anti-freeze?

no smell of antifreeze but the temperature has dropped in the last couple of days but I will pull it in the garage and check under the engine while it is running.

Funny how i have the same problem with my Fuga, but i already got like 108K milage.. sensing it starts smelling after a 10 min while driving.no lights no overheating ...sometimes when stopped at a light or whatever i also noticed a lil smoke coming from the same place u mentioned ...could be a valve leakage etc, please let me know if you solved your problem
