Was on my way to school today , saw some kid in a new base model celica trying to get this BMW M roadster to race him , of caorse the BMW didnt want to waste his time and let the damned ricer go . so at the next light the BMW and i are sitting bside eachother , im admireing his car and giving him a thumbs up nice car bit, now were just waiting for the light to go green , of coarse im in the right lane , which ends in 1000 feet , so thinking hes gonna drive all normal and i can just goose the caddy a little and get infront of him .but.....

the light goes green and i jumped on the caddy too much and got wheel spin before traction contoll activated..but off i went , only to look out the left side mirror to see the BMW off my right rear quater panel, i had him in the first 120 feet , but then the awesome power of the BMW took over for him , and luckily i had my window down so i could hear that stirght 6 at full song ,brushed the brake pedal and got in behind him so he would slow down to not hurt anyone , i was giggleing all the way tho , its amazing to watch m roadsters run thru the gears at full thorttle

in the end i guess i accidently got him to race me by me complimenting his car , really wasnt my intention, i know id get blown away by those things , foretunatly he wasnt very good at shifting which allowed me to think for a second that the caddys v8 was fast . but at any rate from now on ill just keep my windows up and my thumbs on the steeringwheel , dont want any wrong ideas to get someone killed

i'm not so into BMW's and i'm DEFINATELY not into roadsters and such...i'm a hardcore, orthodox 2 door coupe guy...i'm not so into the hatchbacks and such...

the M3 is more my style...as is the S14 :)

i drive a cooper S at the moment which i find is funny lol

aint nothin wrong with a cooper, I wish I had one, and I wish I could comfortably drive one of the older ones(not sure if I can even do it with a newer one)

pretty funny to mess with people in cadillacs though, people don't expect them to take off quite as well as they do.

the deville runs the same 300hp Northstar as the Seville right?

6' isn't really that tall, you'd be fine. You must G-ride like it's your job in that caddy

not mine , but yes the concourse deville had a dohc 4.6l 300 hp and 275 lb feet of torque v8 , mine has the 200hp ,275lb ft pushrod 4.9 or 300 cid depending on what side of the mason dixon line your on , torque comes on much earlier in the 4.9 since its a bigger displacemnt and pushrod so its just as fast as a concourse off the line , but the concourse would have its way with me after that , plus it has fender skirts which makes it faster too !!! its like a vetc sticker but for cadillacs

hell yeah, it'd be like watching this mid 80's LTD auto x here, one of the most amusing cars to watch, we called the driver Dangerous Dan, he didn't spin it out too much and still put up good times.

I wanna get my uncle's old '81 Chrysler Imperial out there on the course, gotta play Sabotage by the Beastie Boys though, it just makes it that much better in the big boats...
