Hello all. Recently my 2006 M35x was hit while parked on the street in front of my house and the insurance company wrote it off.

So after some shopping around, I luckily stumbled on a 2013 M37x, a local car, lease return, with only 48,000kms (just under 30,000 miles) at a Hyundai dealership. One test drive and it's mine. Tech and premium package, and the optional 20" wheels and big brakes. Diamond Graphite with stone interior. I've had her a few weeks and have added the rear spoiler, window tinting, and had the roof wrapped in gloss black. Still a few more things to do to make it truly mine, but pretty happy that I could stay in the family.

I've been reading through the forums, catching up on this car and some of the great stuff y'all have contributed. Keep up the good work!

Yes indeed, centralcoaster.

And if I've got this figured out correctly, here is a picture:

Excellent mate! I am considering having my roof either painted or wrapped in black. What made you chose wrap, and how much did it cost if you don't mind my asking.

Larz, I had the roof painted on my M35x some years ago. If I recall correctly, it was a little over C$500 at the time. The wrap that I just had done was C$250. So basically it was just a price decision. If I have any trouble with the wrap over time, I will just peel it off and go the paint route.

I have some clear coat failure starting to show on my roof and was quoted $225 USD for gloss black vinyl by a very well known and respected California vinyl installer that travels from So Cal / L.A. to Nor Cal / SF Bay Area regularly doing nothing but vinyl jobs. Price is right in line with what John2 paid. $200-250 USD seems to be the acceptable price.

Welcome and nice ride John2!
